How can I cut cute bento decoration for onigiri without a puncher?

so I'm trying to add faces the typical cutesy "kawaii" faces to my onigiri, but cutting with scissors is so difficult. The nori starts to crumble really easily. I managed to cut a somewhat cute face out, but I'm wondering if there's any easier solutions that don't include buying a nori-puncher.

That's a tough one, you kind of need the punch, you might try using an exacto knife instead of the scissors, that might be easier and more precise than the scissor motion.
