How do you get your Bento boxes to stay neat?

All the Bento boxes I see online look like they would spill and get messy when you actually take them anywhere, unless you hold them upright inyour hand which is not very convenient when travelling on the subway or train! I have only made unspillable Bento so far, would like to hear how other people solve this problem?How do you get your Bento boxes to stay neat?

way late to be in the running, but the trick to keeping a bento from spilling and getting messy is to pack it tightly, and use filler like veggies (I like broccoli!) or other similar smaller ingredients to fill in any significant gaps :)
