What country is the Bento Box from?

The Bento is from Japan. Originating back to the Kamakura Period 1185 to 1333 AD. The individual lunch boxed portions are also popular in Taiwan where they are known as Bendong or Biendang which means convenience pack.|||japan|||I have eaten Bento Box meals in Japanese restaurants in the USA.

I don't know if they serve them in Japan, however!|||The Bento Box is from Japan|||If it's an expensive box, it's probably made in Japan.

If the box is inexpensive and plastic, probably made in China.

Look on the bottom of the box for a "Made in xxx" sticker.
