How much is a bento cost(sell in Yen) at JR railway station?

I guess it'll depend on what you want to eat.

For example a bento that has seasonal seafood or Kobe or Matsuzaka beef will cost more than your regular average Bento.

I'd say 600 yen to 1400 yen. Somewhere around that range on average but usually a 1000 yen will get you a pretty good bento with seasonal dishes.

For example :

Salmon and salmon roe (a seasonal delicacy) Bento in Hakodate Hokkaido is 1050 yen.

My wife went back a couple of months ago, and she said they cost at least 800 yen. Real good ones like Makunouchi bento will cost over 1000 yen.

Note that the cost of bentos will vary depending on what part of the country you are in. They will be most expensive in well-traveled Tokyo and Osaka train lines and will be cheaper in places like Akita, Aomori, southern Shikoku, Kyushu, etc.How much is a bento cost(sell in Yen) at JR railway station?

If you buy a bento in a station like Tokyo it's about 700-1200. If you buy a bento from 7-11, Lawson's or a bento shop you can get the same thing cheaper. In rural stations the locals come to sell their local delicacy-type bento at the station. Those are usually first-rate and not particularly expensive.
usually around 580 yen to 780 yen is the norm for getting a bento meal
